The Colt 1911 Classic is the pistol that defined a century of American handguns. Our custom shop took a brand new Colt 1911 Classic, chambered in .45 ACP, and gave it a design created for this build: Snake & Scroll.
Every surface of the slide and frame is engraved 1.5mm deep, pairing a snake scale pattern with flowing scrollwork. The pistol was then chemically stripped and hand polished to a mirror finish before plating. The frame and slide are finished in real 18K White Gold, while the hammer, grip safety, slide stop, barrel bushing, and grip screws are plated in 24K Yellow Gold. The snake scale pattern carries onto the gold slide stop, so the design continues across the pistol without a break.
Upgraded white pearl polymer grips, inlaid with a 24K gold plated Colt horse emblem, complete the build. The pearl echoes the white gold, and the gold horse ties back to the accents.
