A new design from our custom shop: the Colt 1911 Classic engraved with "Our Lady of Guadalupe," a brand new pattern featuring a devotional image of the Virgin Mary surrounded by full coverage floral scroll engraving. The engraving was cut to a full 1.5mm relief depth across the slide and frame before the pistol underwent chemical stripping and mirror finish polishing.
The entire pistol was then plated in real 24K Yellow Gold. To complete the build, we created matching custom grips featuring a second devotional engraving of the Virgin Mary in prayer. The grip base is aluminum, engraved, stripped, polished, and plated in 24K Yellow Gold using the same process as the pistol itself, so the finish matches seamlessly across the entire build.
This is the first Colt 1911 produced in the Our Lady of Guadalupe design. We intend to produce 5 additional units. Each build ships with a Certificate of Authenticity.
