Built on the legendary Colt 1911 Government Model .38 Super platform, every surface of this extraordinary pistol has been transformed through a multi-stage artisan process unlike anything in our collection. The slide bears a breathtaking deep-relief dragon engraving — a majestic Eastern dragon rendered in extraordinary detail, its scales, claws, and fierce expression carved with surgical precision against a richly textured cloud and wave background. The entire frame and slide were then finished in 18K White Gold plating — a cool, brilliant foundation that makes every engraving cut shimmer with extraordinary depth and dimension.
The contrast is delivered by warm 24K Gold plating on the hammer, trigger, thumb safety, beavertail, barrel bushing, pins, and all accent hardware — creating a dual-tone precious metal presentation that is simultaneously bold and refined. The crown jewel of this build, however, is the custom aluminum grip panels — individually engraved with our exclusive "Dragoon" design, mirror polished, and finished entirely in 24K Yellow Gold. The result is a grip panel that functions as a standalone work of fine art — a golden dragon in full relief that gleams against the white gold body with an intensity that photographs cannot fully capture.
This is the inaugural unit of the "Dragon Design" series — a first-of-its-kind, serialized build that represents a cornerstone acquisition for the most serious collector or investor. Chambered in the legendary .38 Super with a 9+1 round capacity, this pistol is as functional as it is magnificent.
